CBD-infused ganache is the perfect way to start experimenting with CBD in the kitchen. For those not in the know, ganache is an amazingly delicious mixture of chocolate and cream that can be used as a glaze, an icing, a filling, or even as an awesome edible ice cream bowl. This CBD ganache is so easy and so versatile that you will definitely want to have it in your bag of tricks to impress your friends and family. I mean, come on, who wouldn’t be impressed by a homemade CBD chocolate icing?
Although any of Grön’s 100mg chocolate bars will work for this Grönache (see what we did there?!), I think the dark chocolate bar makes the best final product. Just note that if you decide to get crazy and use any of their 50mg specialty flavors you will have to use two to get the proportions below to come out just right.
CBD serving size: 2 tbsp. = 10mg
1/2 cup (4 oz.) high-quality, bittersweet chocolate, chopped
2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
1 Grön 100mg CBD dark chocolate bar, chopped
How it’s done:
Heat cream in a saucepan on the stove and bring just to a boil. Remove from heat.
Combine both chopped chocolates in a medium bowl and slowly pour hot cream over top. Use a spatula to stir and scrape the sides of the bowl until smooth.
Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
