Avocado toast is all the rage these days. You can’t go into breakfast, brunch, or really any trendy restaurant without seeing their unique take on this simple dish. And that got the Grön chocolatiers thinking: why don’t we throw our own spin on avocado toast?
And just like that, this CBD chocolate avocado spread recipe was born!
Now, avocado and chocolate might sound a little crazy on the surface but bear with me here. The creamy texture of the avocado blends quite perfectly with chocolate ganache, creating a spread that is full of good fats. And really, how could adding more healthy fats to chocolate ever be a bad thing? It’s the perfect way to elevate your day!
This recipe uses the CBD chocolate Grönache recipe found here, so be sure to make that ahead of time. The best way to mix the Grönache with the avocado is definitely with a food processor, but you can certainly use a fork if you find yourself in a pinch.

1/4 cup grönache, warmed
Sprinkle of sea salt
Toasted bread of your choice
How it’s done:
Mash avocado and warmed grönache in a bowl or food processor until blended well.
Spread on toasted bread and sprinkle with sea salt.
Serve with: Breakfast in the morning, for brunch, or as a late-night snack with a cup of hot cocoa! Actually, who am I kidding, this is good for literally any time of day.
